Mama’s Love beat RFM-Swift, 100-99 in OT, in the opening day of the 1986 PABL Second Conference Founder’s Cup on August 6, 1986. Edgardo Cenabre won it for the Baby Oil Makers when he took a shot that went in with six seconds to go in the extra period.

Two Mama’s Love PABL games in 1986
Lhuillier Jewelers beat Mama’s Love in a clash of two Visayan squads in the 1986 PABL Invitational First Conference. The Lhuillier starting five were Samboy Lim, Jojo Lastimosa, Al Solis, Harmon Codinera and Peter Aguilar. The Mama’s Love starting unit were Elmer Cabahug, Ricric Marata, Zaldy Realubit, Yves Dignadice and Norberto Manalili. The Jewelers prevailed, 108-103.
