The Groupings were:

Group A: ERDC-Hawaiian Delights, Mama's Love, Rizal Athletic Club, Maisagana Corn Growers, Fuji Soy Sauce, Countryfair, UE and Letran.

Group B: Masagana 99, ESQ Jeans Merchants, Army Jungle Fighters, Arellano University, RFM-Swift's, Southern Textile Mills, UST and San Sebastian.
